FAQ

What are parking, shuttle and rideshare options?

SHUTTLE PASSES

Park and ride when you buy a 1-Day or 2-Day Shuttle Pass! Gain free parking at Kroger Field with purchase and hop on the shuttle, which is just a short ride to the Red Mile. 

You must have a shuttle pass to park at Kroger Field. No overnight parking is allowed – vehicles will be subject to tow. Shuttles are sold per person, not per vehicle.

Parking Hours:

  • 11:00 AM – Parking Lots Open
  • 12:00 – Saturday/Sunday First Bus
  • 1:00 AM – Last Bus
  • Parking lot opens one hour before first bus and closes at 2:00 AM each day

RIDESHARE

Take an UBER, Lyft or similar ride share service to/from Red Mile! Rideshare address: 1200 Red Mile Rd, Lexington, KY 40504. Follow the instructions of traffic attendants. 

DOWNTOWN PARKING

Red Mile is conveniently located a short walk from downtown Lexington! You can visit parkwhiz.com and spothero.com to preview all of the downtown parking options.

BIKE PARKING

Bike parking will be available next to the Box Office at The Round Barn. Please note, storing and locking will be at the owner’s risk, so make sure to bring what you need to ensure it’s locked up! 

Full ADA and Accessibility accommodation details for 2024 are not yet available, but check back later! Railbird works to make sure that all festival fans have an enjoyable experience. We’ll be adding the details in the coming months.   • CLEAR bags made up of clear plastic, vinyl, or pvc, and no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″. Small clutch purses and fanny packs with no more than 1 pocket.  Clutch purses no larger than 6″ x 9″ (See Full Bag Policy Below)
  • Baby Strollers (no wagons please)
  • Frisbees
  • Binoculars
  • Blankets, Sheets, Towels
  • Cameras (basic point and shoot consumer-grade cameras) without detachable lenses and other accessories (monopods, tripods, GoPro mounts, and other attachments are not allowed)
  • Empty reusable water bottles and hydration packs, and plastic or aluminum water bottles. Guests will be allowed to bring one unopened factory-sealed water bottle (under 32 ounces) as well as refillable bottles, so be sure to bring a water bottle or cup and stay hydrated!
  • Sunscreen in non-aerosol containers is allowed in the size of 3.4 ounces or less
  • Personal sized hand sanitizer
  • Factory sealed Naloxone/Narcan kit
